The Alpine KTP-445U is a great amp hands down!! It was easy to install, I have experience installing amps so it was probably easier for me than if you have never done an amp before. First thing I love is you don't need an amp installation kit as this unit uses the factory or after market power wires which saves time and money on the installation. Your options for mounting are increased because of it's compact size. This amp sounds great... replaced a stock factory amp that had failed and the quality was even better than what the car had come with and it saved him $800 over what the dealer wanted to put an inferior stock amp back in the car.

This was the perfect boost to my Alpine INE-S920HD. All I can say is WOW!! Clean power with thundering lows, and clear noise free highs! Had it professionally installed in my 05 Silverado Duramax and I have three words...OFF THE CHAIN!

I needed a small, quality amp for a 2011 Jeep Wrangler & the Alpine KTP-445U met those needs perfectly. I mounted it to a small aluminum plate bought at a local hardware store & bolted the plate assembly to a cross bar under the steering column where it's up out of the way, accessible & has plenty of free space around it. Matched up with Polk Audio DB6501 & DB651s speakers, the amp provided the boost in volume & clean sound needed to overcome road noise from mudders & open air driving even with the stock head unit. This was a nice upgrade at a reasonable price.
